In 2008, Dr. Desai founded his Beaverton, Oregon-based clinic, RestorePDX. It began as a more traditional musculoskeletal and pain interventional practice, but with the added benefit of having a board certified and fellowship trained interventional radiologist prescribing and interpreting the radiologic imaging for his own patients. This led to arriving at and treating the proper diagnoses in a much more efficient manner.
Dr. Desai expanded the practice to incorporate the successful use of leading edge orthobiologic therapies such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Stem Cells, and Amniotic Membrane-Derived Growth Factors, to treat patients with tendon, ligament, joint and spine issues.
Dr. Desai has gained both local and national acclaim in the fields of MSK radiology and orthobiologic treatments. He is a recognized international expert in the field of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Regenerative medicine, performing hundreds of successful therapies each year. His endeavors include numerous lectures, presentations, publications, and research.
