Bill Andrews, PhD

Dr. Andrews is the President and CEO of Sierra Sciences, a biotech company focused solely on reversing aging through telomere maintenance. Dr. Andrews earned his Ph.D. in Molecular and Population Genetics at the University of Georgia in 1981. He was a Senior Scientist at Armos Corporation and Codon Corporation, Director of Molecular Biology at Codon and at Geron Corporation, and Director of Technology Development at EOS Biosciences. He is one of the principal discoverers of both the RNA and protein components of human telomerase.

We age because a clock ticks inside every dividing cell of our bodies.

This clock is called the telomere clock and is found at the tips of our chromosomes. I will be discussing ways to slow down, stop, and even reverse this clock. Studies in mice have shown that old mice can be made young again in every way imaginable simply by reversing the ticks on this clock utilizing an enzyme called telomerase. Treatments for humans are sooner than you think.
